MAX IV Laboratory is a highly dynamic and innovative workplace. The variety of experiments and technology leads to a variety of risks to be handled, both conventional and some more specific to synchrotron facilities. Attaining and maintaining a safe work environment for employees, users, contractors, and other visitors is, therefore, a challenge that we must all face together here at MAX IV.
Preventing risk at MAX IV
Risks at MAX IV are local in the sense that they have a limited potential impact outside of the facility, comparable to more conventional facilities where, for instance, gas bottles are handled.
In the left hand column you will find links to pages with safety information for Users, Employees and Contractors. Studying the information is a prerequisite for having personal access to the facility.
