MAX IV is engaged in collaborations with external parties to support quality and efficient data analysis for users.
Access to state-of-the-art visualization and analysis competence
Would you benefit from support and expertise to visualize and analyse data, for example from imaging, spectroscopic images or protein datasets? If so, do not hesitate to reach out for support from the team of over 50 visualization experts in InfraVis, the Swedish national infrastructure for data visualization.
InfraVis will assist and support your research process through data analysis and visualization.
InfraVis provides services and resources including the following:
- Advanced machine learning-based segmentation methods for volumetric data.
- Development of custom-made Python scripts for image processing and analysis of 2D, 3D and 4D data.
- Access to custom developed Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) to analyse e.g., spectroscopic images.
- Access to visualization labs with InfraVis expert support, including visualization domes, VR labs, and HPC resources across Sweden. These facilities provide hardware and software for data visualization, including XR technologies like VR, AR, and CAVEs. For example, LU’s CAVE enables interactive exploration of volumetric data and PDB files.
The InfraVis team of specialists is available to provide services and support ranging from short consultations up to several hundreds of support hours to improve the understanding of your data.
Please note that InfraVis’ primary mission is to support researchers affiliated to Swedish universities, but applications from other researchers, including international and industry applicants, may be considered depending on available resources
