SoftiMAX is a soft X-ray beamline, dedicated to spectromicroscopy and coherent imaging. The beamline operates in the photon energy range between 275 eV and 2.5 keV and has two branch lines: one for STXM and Ptychography with a sub-100 nm focus, and one modular line for coherent and full-field techniques that require a larger beam size (up to 20 micron).
Proposal call for Fall25
The next proposal call will open between February 12 and February 26, 2025 at 14:00 CET, and cover the beamtime period August 2025 to March 2026. SoftiMAX is funded through Vetenskapsrådet and saw first light in March 2020.
